Schistosity
Schistosity develops when mica, chlorite, and talc form larger, visible crystals and, as a result, the rock develops a planer orientation with crystals large enough to see. The specimens pictured below are Phyllite (14), Mica Schist (15) and Chlorite Schist (16)
